Summer Solstice 2022: Timelapse captured in an imaginary world

Hey all,

We captured this timelapse in Eternium 2 prototype. It's somewhere where Svalbard would be, during the Summer Solstice, when sun never sets.

We are not ready yet to show actual game footage, we would prefer to have some more polishing done before the reveal.
We experimented a bit with third person camera, for immersion.
Please don't assume too much about how the final version will be from this very early footage, there are a lot of placeholder assets and so on.

We will release more footage while we progress and are very excited about the prospect of reaching an early closed beta where you are going to be invited to play and offer feedback.

How will invitees be chosen? I would be interested.
Is "Eternium 2" an upgrade/replacement or a new additional game?

I just spent the Summer Solstice just south of the Artic Circle It is so bizarre for it never to get truly dark.

Typically beta testing is available via a special URL or log-in link for those that want to opt-in and try it vs having it pushed to everyone. So those that really want to participate in the testing, and to provide feedback, will be able to do so. I think Eternium operates the same way.

The primary goal is to port Eternium off Marmalade to a new platform that is more stable. After that who knows...
