So, i just took a screen shot of the intro scren for the"on wings of aether" level in the demeter world in order to post a text mistake on another thread.
after the screen shot, the intro screen remained stuck during gameplay as a sort of transparent layer. Restarting the game seemed to fix the issue... but fyi.
