Tavern buffs (and possible other buffs) stop working after opening hero inventory.

    Versions:

    iOS 1.5.61, PC 1.5.45

    Issue:

After very carefully checking, we can confirm that the Ginger Beer (+100 CR) buff stops working as soon as you open and close the hero inventory.
    :/
None of the other actions (dying, opening settings, opening map, opening trial stats, opening character/target effect descriptions, ...) seem to have this.

    Steps to reproduce:

In both Training Grounds and during Trials, if you have the Ginger Beer bonus active, your hits will have the correct higher crit%.
If you then open and close the inventory, any hit you do as of then will use a lower crit %, equal to what your percentage was before applying the beer.
This keeps happening until the level is over

We can also confirm that opening the inventory, drinking another beer and closing the inventory still has the bug occur.

This apparently also applies to the crit% calculation used for Snipe Bleed, meaning BH's are impacted by this twice.

    Remaining open points:
    - We don't know yet if this also applies to the other tavern buffs
    - We don't know yet if this also applies to any other effects (e.g. set effects, companion buffs, XP/Gold boosters, ...)

Below are some screenshots showing the bug in action. Step to reproduce: Drink a Ginger Beer while in town, go to a Trial, do some Snipe before and after opening the inventory.

To ease the comparison I used no guns, so the base damage is constant.

    Stats with Ginger Beer active:

    Theoretical damage computation for Snipe:

Screenshots just after Sniping and a bit after:

Click image for larger version Name:	Untitled 56.png Views:	32 Size:	274.0 KB ID:	202408

You can see that the computations based on the advertised Critical rating (with Ginger Beer active) are correct.

Similar screenshots, but after opening/closing the inventory:

Comparison to theoretical damage assuming the Ginger Beer is in fact non active, despite what the Stats sheet still shows:

Addendum: I have tried various ways to re-activate the Ginger Beer effect, such as drinking another one, changing the Champion Points allocation, moving items in the inventory... Nothing worked.

If you enter a new Trial with the Ginger Beer active, the +100CR buff is correctly applied. It is no longer after you open the Inventory in the Trial. If you Teleport back to Town from the Training Grounds, open the Inventory, and go back to the Training Ground through the Portal, the buff is removed. If you return to the Training Grounds through the Story Map, the buff is granted back.

I don't know of a way to activate a Food buff without either opening the Inventory via the Helm button, or opening the Stash by taping on the chest. Given that opening the Stash also shows the Inventory content, I'm not sure one can say that the Inventory wasn't opened...

(Edit: This is an answer to a now deleted post.)

What is the current situation on this bug ? Is it a BH bug only \what builds are affected ? Does that mean 1. buy buffs 2. obviously open inventory to consume & then 3. push in trials without entering inventory again??? Sorry still confused on this ... cheers for info

...sets me wondering just how many hours were spent playing underbuffed :-)

P.S. if inventory opened outside of town those buffs are gone for good then ? or just for that trial ?
