    Crafting Beta, issues summary

    Following the trends from the previous beta, I'll start collecting the feedback/issues for the Crafting Closed Beta here.

    Please post any major issues/feedback separately, paraphrase of Travis' words: "I read everything, eventually" - so will add things here as I find them. You can post minor issues here in the replies below and I'll add them to the summary. Thanks.

    Please forward potential exploits/other major game changes to help@makingfun.com directly, do not post in forum/discord. Thank you.


    I'll try to keep an updated summary of issues in the post below (so the whole thread doesn't get quarantine again, sorry Travis). Will be collecting things from here in forum and on Discord (might have missed some though, hard to track through all the chats...)

    Hello all,

    I would like to throw the idea out for being able to "fuse" essences from right in the crafting material inventory "chest". It would be very nice to make my lessors into greaters right there in the chest.

    Just a thought, thank you for the dedication to the best game ever. I look forward to future updates.

    I was able to do it with my tome since I went for flurry on DR, but again as I've mentioned in another thread, it should be the way it is. We should be able to enchant tomes with RotS.
    Tomes boost damage and in a way a "weapon" but yeah I guess we got confused on the meaning of off-hand as you've said in one of your posts.

    There is no warning if you salvage a low level rarity item with a high level gemstone in it :P So, don't do that. Perhaps could be something to consider since the overall game is very user friendly and if you aren't paying attention you can lose a gemstone very quickly.

    I love Eternium and look forward to many more hours running around killing mobs. I looked but dont see see this mentioned previously: Is there any talk of being able to shatter brilliant gemstones into smaller ones? For instance Radiant gemstones for use in crafting. Thank you for the dedication and great place to play, happy holidays!

    Ah, I was waiting for this opportunity, but it means that I missed it. A little sad, but the game does not end there.

    How could he enchant tome with the RoT? As far as I know, at the moment this enchantment is available only for weapons. At least I can not enchant my tome with it.

    If you replace an enchantment with another, you don't get the prior one back. It is gone.

    The in-game description states it will be "removed". In English, the implication of that word is unclear, and even leans towards it will still exist.

    Would returning it to inventory be so bad? Since you can only USE one at a time, I can't see how it would be game breaking to give it back once removed. In fact, it seems it would encourage experimentation meaning spend more resources which would be a positive for the game.
