Gear for minions?

I'm sure someone else must have pointed that out before but I can't find anything in 1st few pages. So how about equipping the minions with some gear? The first thing they do when the boss appears is die. May be we could change that. They even may kill someone on battlefield too as a bonus.

It's been suggested numerous times. It's also been said that minions will become invincible with the balance patch, which would make a big difference.
