In the current version, my gem balance display has been taken from the corner of the main screen and hidden away in the possessions sub-screen. Now when I score a gem, or complete a quest, there's no graphic of my little hoard increasing. Even if I click to change screens as soon as I complete a quest, the total is already updated. It doesn't have the same feel of accomplishing something. Also, it's less convenient if I'm trying to save up a set number of gems to acquire something, because you cannot see the running total as you approach the goal.
