after all these years
i just realize one of the "Many benefit" of Goldly farmin
i'm always short of Greater essence of Shadow etc. No matter wat i did (try to accumulate) it's always depreciate so fast
Just now for the first time i just did the unthinkable (for me). this "Transmute" stuff
erm. open the wat that thing called "Craftin resource". O Dear wat a nonsense. too much of "Greater essence of Water". why not try this Transmute for a change
Just try transmute "5" to a new "5" etc
wat. So cheap???. why haven't i think of this simple "route" bf???
the above statement act as an "enthusiasm' for me to continuously farmin for "Gold". in a year time i think i would be like "ShadeGlow' a "Billionare".

based on the Crafting resources i hv only "207" GE of shadows
that's why i try to increase it a bit through "Transmute" and "Combine" route

is there a way to have it increase via "only the shadow" route?: LE to E and GE of the same essence of shadows??
i just knew how to increase GE of shadows via Transmute and Combine method: for example from GE of Water to GE of Shadows
erm..i'm not familiar/used to this Mastery Level "Combine/Shatter" Route at all

Now, back to the topic at hand. My friend, you are missing something.

Look at this part of the screen ...



Click on it and you will find this ...



From there, take a look at the two options that I have highlighted here ...



The "Essence of Shadow" option allows you to combine 10 Lesser Essences of Shadow into 1 Essence of Shadow.

The "Greater Essence of Shadow" option allows you to combine 10 Essences of Shadow into 1 Greater Essences of Shadow.

You have almost 5k Greater Essences of Shadow tied up as Lesser Essences of Shadow and Essences of Shadow. I would combine those before transmuting as combining is less expensive overall.

This process is really not different than fusing gemstones.

Another opinion is to just click the green icon Next to the material you are lacking when crafting and it will bring you right to the screen to upgrade when you need to.

Another interesting observation from TheExorcist 's material stash...presuming lesser materials where never used this way before, we can observe a non equal drop rate of material.

The combining part can get expensive tho. Thought it was like 100 GE water --》 100 GE shadow is 1 mil gold.
