    Release Notes for 1.2.40 (Google Beta)

    Hey all,

    A new build is available on Google Play Open Beta (https://play.google.com/apps/testing...mageandminions)
    This build contains many buffs to Warrior and Bounty Hunter abilities.

    Release notes:

    Bounty Hunter
    • Starts with 25% dodge instead of 5%.
    • Health gained per level slightly increased.
    • Havoc Gear missile damage increased to 500%.
    • Increased explosion damage and chance for Explosive Shot.
    • Concussive Shot knockback only applies to targets in close proximity.
    • Concussive Shot slows the target for a short time.
    • Concussive Shot had its damage increased.
    • Shots fired during Rapid Fire gain a bonus damage.
    • Snipe inflicts more damage and stuns the targets for a short time.
    • Snipe projectile radius has been increased.
    • Heat Seeker missiles reach their targets faster and inflict more damage.
    • Frozen Trap damage no longer scale with the hero attack speed.
    • Frozen Trap damage increased.
    • Multi Shot projectiles gain the hunter passive shot effects.
    • Increased piercing chance for Piercing Shots.
    • Increased poison chance and damage for Poisoned Shots.
    • Charged Shots damage reduced and visual effect revamped.


    Warrior
    • The warrior gains more health and armor when leveling up.
    • Bash knockback has been removed and deals increased damage.
    • Frenzy damage has been increased.
    • Shield Block, In The Zone, and Battle Rage can be cast while the warrior is Whirlwinding.
    • The Whirlwind visual effect has been toned down.
    • Fixed a bug in which Battle Rage would offer more attack speed than intended.
    • Battle Rage bonus damage increased.
    • Targets pulled by Leap are placed in front of the warrior.
    • Shockwave also hits targets behind the warrior and pulls them in front.
    • Shockwave damage has been increased.


    Mage
    • Fixed a bug preventing Frost Beam from being properly controlled.
    • Mirror images generated by Blink start attacking on their own as soon as they are spawned.


    Other
    • Fixed a bug preventing gear items on heroes to render properly.
    • Eileen model has been revamped.
    • Fixed Calendar opening periodically until collected.
    • Added a setting enabling users to change the game resolution.
    • Improved damage reporting in Training Grounds.
    • Various bug fixes.


    The class balancing process is not over yet and we have many other improvements and balance changes in development.
    Waiting for feedback.

        @Adrian, if I update to beta on one device, will it upgrade my saves so I'll be forced to update on all devices? I mean will I be able to keep playing with stable version on other device or not?

              That's a long list. Looking forward to some warrior/bh time to experiment with the new abilities.

                Wow this looks sweet, two quick questions, what does "Frozen Trap damage no longer scale with the hero attack speed." mean, and what does "Fixed a bug in which Battle Rage would offer more attack speed than intended." mean? (Does the first one mean the combination of frozen trap stealth and rapid fire no longer works, and does the second one mean battle rage no longer stacks?)

                  This is one those big balance updates....and it's finally happening. This makes us one step nearer to multiplayer.

                    First impresions are that my dps and recovery on warrior has decreased. Armor and vitality boost is not much. I got oneshoted by gorlac in trial 205 which was propably gonna happen anyway. Bosses takes longer to kill even with the buff on frenzy. My cooldowns also increased with the decreased attack speed.

                    Shockwave buff is good. Its more usefull now i believe, but the knockback makes you chace the enemies and you loose tempo (increased cooldowns from stop attacking) a stun intead of knockback might be better.

                    Havent tested wirlwind yet.

                    In general my warrior feels weaker now in trials. I will try changing my build but i dont have the luxury of much gear choices. A shield build might benefit from the new shockwave more. Bigger pulls is required to cover the dps loss.

                      I agree with Vouis. I had been running legendary CoW repeatedly before the update. After the update (no other changes), mobs take a little longer for my warrior to kill and bosses take proportionately more time to kill. It seems to be due to the reduction in attack speed from Battle Rage. Possibly this is intentional - I'm just noting it.

                      Shockwave does seem to be much more effective. It seems to give the warrior a little bit of useful magic. I too would prefer a stun effect rather than knocking back. On a similar note, Bash seems more usable now without the knock-back.

                        I'm with Vouis in terms of attack speed in the beta version. I guess we who played warriors on a daily basis got spoiled by the fast attack speed bonus of battle rage.

                        If you could please tweak a tiny bit maybe add an additional .30-.50 attack speed bonus for battle rage. Added 4-5 secs for a single CoW run. Whirlwind damage feels the same.

                        Standing from a Powerlevel freak point of view. I could feel the impact of the nerf in the beta version.

                          I now run cow using shockwave, it is even faster than what it was before while using WW.
