  • Reforge broken?

    I keep getting the same rolls. Anybody else having this problem, or is it just me? It happens alot more since the latest update.

    Did some reforging today (beta 1.2.72) and it was par for the course. Got a good one with one roll and bad on another item. RNG sometimes do that.

          If you mean you're getting the same stat, it's becausr you can improve the one you have, and that's normal. Even seeing similar stats again and again can be normal - just bad luck.

          If you mean that every time you reforge, you get the exact same choices, that's a bug.

              Keep in mind that Reforge became "statistically worse" when Parry Block and Dodge were converted to ratings and allowed to be present on non-gloves non-cape gear pieces.

              Now, you have 6 "desirable" attributes (Vit Pow Haste CR CD AR), 1-2 "meh OK" attributes (LoH and MS), and generally 8 "undesirable" attributes (Reflect +XP +Gold Regen P/B/D and Armor, save for niche cases).

              SInce you'll typically be reforging a trifecta piece, that will already have 3 of the desirable attributes. So those are out.

              Leaves 3 additional desirable attributes vs. 1-2 "mehs" and 8 bad ones. Bad odds for only two new options to pick from.

                LoH is good for mages, as the Apprentice Bubble is determined by LoH #.

                  I have apparently missed something useful..."stacks for a value equal to LoH". Is that the number of times it stacks, or the value of damage reduced with each stack, not to exceed 25% vitality?

                    And i just read that it REDUCES damage taken by 10% (reduced from 25%). So it doesn't fully block damage? Hmm..
