In the Event (in case it is different), I just completed T37 in 6:36 [396 seconds] and T39 became unlocked.

The (prior) listed value of 390 (6:30) was an estimate. In fact all the values are merely what I observed, and not the "maximum it can be". I had nailed down that particular range to being less than 6:40 and greater than 6:30, so I listed the more conservative of the two (6:30 = 390 sec). Your data has made the estimate better -- 6:36 to 6:40. I updated the original post -- I doubt it's different during the event, though maybe...?

I don't think it's different in the Beta. I was just adding more data to get more refined results.

Coda's original table with additional data for 4 and 3 levels unlocked. Anyone is welcome to add their results (only including the longest completion time recorded for a given number of levels unlocked, of course).

(The data is centered in the preview, but not when published. Beats me.)

Edit: 5:28 for three levels bumped to 5:29. (Probably 5:30, but who knows with the weird business at two levels.)

When is completion time defined? As soon as you kill the boss? or as soon as you press End? A nice addition would be for the timer to "freeze" as soon as you kill the boss, because it might be unfair to manage a very good time and ruin it because for whatever reason you didn't press end right away.

From what I've noticed, time is always finalized, for purposes of completion count, from the moment the boss dies.

Completion time is measured as soon as you kill the boss. We've all had tongue-in-cheek cases of the timer moving to "timer expired" while the loot was still flying in.

After the boss is down, you can freely move to pop mystery boxes, enact vengeance upon that Elites pack you avoided, etc. Your completion won't be affected.

Thar's great thank you, would be better though for the timer to freeze as well, just a nice addition imho

What would also be nice, is a popup informing you of your new class rank# when you successfully beat the timer.
I'm assuming that the Dev was wrong.

Any XP boosters will continue to count down, however.

Indeed - important point. Actually, that is part important point part bug report, because they really shouldn't (same for counting down during the "end level - are you sure? There's still treasure" dialog)

The timers should definitely not stop. It's not a bug in any way.
(You can still kill the remaining enemies so the timer shouldn't stop.)

Way late I know, but also this is where I came when I was trying to find out how many trials unlocked at what times. So 5 levels unlocked for me at completion time of 4:03.
65-70 if it is relevant for any of you mathmagician types
