That's an old Sega Genesis game called Space Harrier.
Spot on, though i spend far more time on C64 games like spy vs spy etc and almost failed my degree because of MUDS (i quit the muds instead luckily)

I may well be the oldest on here as a 40 something...

        I'll date myself, really bad.

Wizardry, real name: Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord
Wizardry II: real name Wizardry: Knight of Diamonds
Wizardry III: LOL; Legacy of Llylgamyn

Plus a prop out to Battlezone and Robotron for Arcade games.

Nope, plenty of 40-somethings around. Some are even 0x40 or even more...

I will join the 40's soon myself.

...I have a daughter who was born in 1971. :-) Of course, I was only 5-years-old at the time. (There goes my nose growing again. :-)

My first computer game was the "Eliza" simulation played in interactive BASIC on a DEC PDP-8 MiniComputer. After that, came MIT Zork, played on an HP-1000 (~$50,000).

THEN the microprocessor spawned a multitude of games!

I once labored on a home-built hardware version of "Pong" which used individual TTL integrated circuits and output video to a television.
