Stuck on Scartree Hold, heroic level

Have beat Scartree several times on “heroic” level, I go through end of level portal then through the gates to the map and Scartree has no stars, still says “run 1,” and the next level is unavailable and faded out. If I switch to “normal,” I can see the next level, crystal mountain, and the rest of the levels I have finished. All I can do is replay Scartree on heroic, which I have done 3 or 4 times. Am I missing something? Is this a bug? I would like to finish the game. iOS 12.1.1, Eternium 1.3.19

If you're using the portal to go fall to the hometown during the level, try stopping that. If that doesn't work, do back a level or 2, complete it, then return to Scartree Hold and try it again.
