Game no longer refreshes after minimizing screen

Windows 10 PC I used to be able to minimize the game screen and come back to the game later with minimal issues. Since the latest update, if I minimize the screen, the game is no longer able to reset itself. I either get a frozen black screen or the game just crashes.

All of the new odd behaviors (control issues, graphic glitches, etc.) will hopefully be fixed with the upcoming update.
