Character on steam is not the same as the one on my mobile. Google play uses the email that was used for the steam install, different characters. I unlinked on steam, and reinstalled on the computer. Issue persists.

Eternium does not use Google Play to store profile information. You have to save the profile with an Eternium account linked to your E-mail.
Sounds like you may be running two different profiles. There is no way to combine profiles.
Check your Friends Code on the billboard in Hometown for each machine and I suspect that the codes are different. This would mean different profiles. -

First, have you created an Eternium account on your mobile or are you just playing locally?
All versions for Eternium have the same login screen:
As long as you have linked your mobile profile, making the profile portable, you can use the heroes on any device. The 123@acme.com linkage through Eternium itself is what allows moving profiles between devices.
