Hello.

On the two devices, all versions of the game since the version 1.7.9 [ the last is 1.8.7 on play store for me ] crashes systematically when starting the game.

The screen with the green eternium logo does not even have time to appear.

I have no error message. Only android which tells me that the game has crashed. [ Yeah thank you android, i didn’t saw ... ]

I sent multiple crash reports with android.

When I go back to version 1.7.9 the game works but the problem is that the game does not let me play anymore and wants to force me to update.
So I can't play anymore.

Clearing cache and data, make a fresh install, restart, solves nothing.
I haven't changed anything to the operating systems, just the usually google play updates.

I'm also a little angry : I bought the 100 gems per day and can't get them back.

If anyone can help me, thanks in advance.

Did you install the official version of the game from the Play Store, or is it a sideloaded apk?

Hi.

The last version comes systematically from the play store. The version 1.7.9 come from the site apk mirror :

I trust this site which does not practice piracy and the apk files are never modified, I believe.

The 1.8.4 version found on apk mirror crashes too.

1.8.x includes Google's app integrity protection. All Android devices now have to run the official version of the game available through the Play Store. I'm guessing you are having trouble because your devices are rooted and running a custom OS.

I can send logcats but there are too bigs for the forum if you want to have a look.

If you're right, rooting phones is an habit since 15 years for me, and I can't consider unrooting for any game or app.

There's no "if" I'm right. You'll have to install the Play Store app to get the supported Android version of the game.

But this is exactlly that i did, again once today :

Delete the app.
Reboot.
Install official android app with official play store app

I use an alternative source only for downgrading.

Again, just a rapid black flash and nothing else ..

My oprating system is a bit customised : Removed some bloatwares, a firewall, and a hosts file by using ad away ... that’s all.

I take screenshoots for the stack trace from the android report, if it can help. Joined here.

This is most likely the problem. If you want to continue playing the game, you'll have to do so on a device running a supported Android OS.

I see that you moved over to an Amazon device. Smart move. I know Amazon hardware is less than satisfactory, but at least it's a work around.

These are the same devices where the google play app version crashes, just the game app [ 1.8.6 ] come this time from amazon store.

Working well .

Trying update to 1.8.7 Google play version, and crashes aigain.

Reverting to 1.8.6 from amazon by simply apply manualy an update, and i can play.

I hope this can continue in the future.
