People have asked what to do about medals with the season's end. Yes, you will get medals again based on your rating. Yes, you can sell your existing medals for gold prior to season's end and get the new medals. If you screw up something, that's on you though.

Just to clarify, is there a disadvantage to waiting until the new season starts before selling old medals? Does it generally affect your ability to get new medals? I would guess it only matters if you would otherwise get exactly the same medal....

I don't know that you can have two of the same item. I will have to ask. My guess is that the system will not give you two of the same item, in which case you want to sell in advance.

Is this "need" actually a "must"? As in, if someone currently have a level 1 Medal and they qualify for it this season, then they MUST sell the old one before the season ends because the game will try to give them the duplicate and fails?

Or simply: If you have one already, then you won't get another.

Also, are the lower levels medal included in the reward? So someone who qualifies for the level 3, would get all of them?

Sorry if it's been covered elsewhere, just checking in case it's a: "you must sell existing" situation, for those who got them last season.

No, you mustn't do it. If you want to get gold from your current ones and then get new medals, you need to do it. Or you can just keep what you have and not worry about any of it. You get only one set of medals based on your rank. So Legends won't get the I or II Medals, only the III ones.
