People have asked what to do about medals with the season's end. Yes, you will get medals again based on your rating. Yes, you can sell your existing medals for gold prior to season's end and get the new medals. If you screw up something, that's on you though. :cool

This "trick" is a bit annoying, though. Wouldn't it be better if the game just auto-sold the duplicates at the season's end, in case of rank 3000?

Yes, it would. SOmething like that will be done, but it's been low priority right now.
