  • New Weapon or token Suggestions? Every one please add comments and more weapons or tokens so developers can see what players want!

    New Weapon Suggestions?
    1. An offhand weapon whose damage equals 1 Plus twice the number of tokens you have. Opposite of sosc - hoard tokens!
    2. A weapon that gains 1 damage (dispellable) for every heal the enemy gets. Another Sosc buster.
    3. A weapon or token that blunts enemy swords and daggers by 1 with each crit.
    4. A weapon that reduces enemy's shield by 1 with each crit or that increases the cost to deploy it.
    5. A weapon (Scarface?) that reduces enemy healings by one each time they heal. This could be applied to a broad class of existing weapons to make gameplay faster. A token with this would also be interesting.
    6. A weapon or token or class of weapons that permanently reduces enemy's evade by 1 each time you miss.
    7. A token that reduces enemy's hit based on their hp lost (- hp lost / 40?). (More like real life)
    8. A token that increases the effort required to use a weapon based on hp lost (+ hp lost / 50?) (More like real life)
    9. A token that causes the enemy's next weapon attack to hit themselves. 2 charges
    10. A token or rule that limits the max damage in any turn to 66. No more otk. Un-nerf golden khopesh and gae balig!

    11. A blinding token or weapon that causes 3% increased miss to your enemy each time they heal over 9 hp.
    12. A one handed crusader weapon that limits the max damage any weapon can cause it to 12 per turn.

    Addressing an imbalanced item, such as SoSC, with other items is really tricky to balance over time. It can paint a meta into a corner as players take either the imbalanced item or the counters. And then you just need more and more counters for other counters. You also end up with niche items, many of which already exist, that don't get used. If there were a campaign mode where you needed to hit a specific strategy to deal with an opponent, those niche items are more viable; otherwise, you're just heading into a match hoping for the right pairing.

    Item 10 is coming in some kind of fashion. Gerula hinted at capping stacked damage with a balance patch.

      If SoSC is here to stay I'd like to see a trinket or weapon that removes (all?) cards from the already played pile. There has to be a way to interrupt the infinite token churn. You could even expand on this with % critical based on tokens in the stack...etc.

        Playing with the stack? Sounds a bit like a MtG game lol ^^

        I agreed that interacting with the stack open interesting building possibilities though....

          Let's get crazy with this. New character: The Garbage Man. Special State: Stench: If there are 25 tokens in the stack opponent has a 20% chance to miss on all attacks. Mastery: at end of each turn gain HP equal to number of cards that entered the trash pile...I mean stack minus 1. Resilience: gain one Garbage Bin token.

          SoSC would work nicely and already is a garbage trinket.

            NOW you are concerned with this? That is the entire meta of the game. Build A beats build B beats build C. The list of items designed to bust a specific build is a mile long, so sorry, but that ship sailed long ago.

                I would like to see a crown of thorns type trinket, but +2 defense instead of damage.

                  Also might be cool to have a no-perk medal. Kind of like Martyr Cape, but different effect and can't be equipped with other medals.

                    I love Martyr Cape. I wish it were more useful to Zerker, but for Crusader, it's smashing.
