    Pirate tokens

Why do pirate tokens with extra effects if you are drunk check for being drunk after the initial effect is applied? Not very intuitive and kind of cheesy.

Sorry, I'm not following that. Can you give an example?

I have 3 swigs, I cast Marooned which gives you 3 swigs and, if you are drunk, heals you 15-20. Now, intuitively, I shouldn't heal because I am not drunk when I cast it. But Instead i cast it, gain 3 swigs (making me drunk), then it checks if I'm drunk (I am) and so I heal. It makes it extremely difficult for that extra feature not to trigger.

I think that's a simple order of operations thing. Drink first, then check. We can ask Gerula (Developer) to chime in, but you will find that other tokens operate the same way: do the first thing stated first, then the second. Thor's Hammer will dispel 1 enemy positive effect even if the damage portion is parried.
