Oh, Led, you got your reply! ;-) I don't put much out on the forums myself, because I like to let the developers speak for themselves, but I know they are busy and you like to hear from us so maybe I'll pop up more often.

I have finally achieved everything possible in the game....I'm kind of speechless. Feel like I'm standing up on stage after winning an award, (I guess this is a runner up award as its hijacked from someone else's post)..so here I go...

    Thanks John,

It's the content of you post that was most inspiring for us fellow nerd's knowing that this game has a long future planned. I now feel I have the ability to play M@M until I decided to stop, not when you (developers) pull the rug and start a new project.
The information means a lot to us just about what is happening as we can go months in a information vacuum and we know it takes a long time between updates patches and that's mainly because you have a small team and so such a good job.
As a casual player and the amount of effort it takes to gather recourses in this game it is very good to know what is planned. For example I played from March to October last year as a lv 60 and never used a single gemstone in crafting knowing/assuming that you would raise the level cap to 70. It was only because I did this I could craft lv 70 items making me better then I should be. Now as a lv 70 I am basically forced to save every gemstone I find now for lv 80 so I can do the same thing over again.
This personally for me makes it harder to put money into the game because I do not know if my investment, while benefiting the game will have a long term benefit for me if all I use the gems bought for is gemstones.
As rings/amulets take a (ridiculous) amount of gemstones to make perfect (for me its like 7 months to craft 1 set), only to have a level cap raised what is the chance that we can turn our crafts into living items that will level with us. I don't mind finding new gear but I do think it is flawed that I already am saving for something not even decided yet.

Also I would like to point out the lack of XP in trials, I'm only lv 783 and after 4 hours trials yesterday I made 2 bars XP.
Gemstones. As they are very hard to acquire in the quantities required why can't they drop in higher quality in higher trails, this would give a lot more incentive then to just do CoW runs.
Gauntlet. This is my favorite place in the game but it is so unrewarding that it is pointless to play. Please make this place viable. Please make this place give standard XP. As a player who is very time limited a auto-play way to level would be so amazing and would keep me playing so much more. I really don't like the fact that us advanced players basically only run cow that is less than 1% of the game. This causes us to burn out and leave. I would love to be able to run Gauntlet for fun/leveling and AFK and then trials for get the gear and gemstones and story for the adventure.
With Story, in legendary I would love it to increase in difficulty to scale with your CL. As a mid level CL at 783 basically it's a joke and this ruins the game to an extent leaving only trials to offer a challenge. But trials don't give XP or gemstones.

Overall I really enjoy the game. If like you said it could be around in 10 years I hope to be around then as well. Thanks for making this great game.

    Hey Led,

There's no plan to raise the level cap in the future. Even if that happens it'll be after a long while. We might revisit the progression from 1-70 and make it easier for players to get to max level if it feels too grindy.

The Gauntlet was abandoned for some time now, and it might remain so in the near future: we are focusing on multiplayer and new content. Also, let's say that we are not too fond of AFK leveling. How about increasing the XP in higher difficulty trials and gemstone drops?

What does it mean "higher" for you ? Can yuo give us a % formula which is now for drop and how it will change?

What when you have meetings? It must be very time consuming.

Gorram. Can't tell you how happy I am to hear this. I was just buying some gem selections, grinding trials and thinking about whether to blow the rest of my current gems on gemstone packs... And then I thought how silly I'd feel crafting perfect jewellery only for it to last a bare few months. It takes A LOT of stones...

Gonna get really serious about that jewellery now, goal number one.

P.S. And in any case, if you ever needed to raise the cap for scaling or multiplayer, I guess what could be done instead is to match or scale by CL. We all get to keep gear and gems that we spent months grinding, everyone happy.

This is where I feel WoW was always missing a huge potential.

When they introduced "phasing" they could have very easily allowed for the upscaling lower level Dungeons/content (and their rewards) keeping WoW truely massive (as opposed to the same rinse repeat of end game (repeative) content.

You could run lower level content for unique items but it was massively grindy, instead they could have raised difficulty to make it a lot more challenging and raised to drop rates to compensate.

I'm not sure what exactly "Phasing" is, I suppose it's something they added long after I quit. But I totally agree with what you're saying about scaling old content that WoW really missed the boat on. There was some spectacular dungeon content in WoW that was totally abandoned, and I never understood why they never scaled it up to the new player level cap so that people would run it again. So much work must have went into creating them and it was such a shame that nobody ever played them anymore.

That would be good. Currently its sad that in running high level trials for 1 hour i make less than 1 bar of xp. In the same time running cow i make 1.5 full cl. Thats 15 times the experence for something that takes no effort or skill. There no reward for pushing yourself in this game.
I really like trials but after a session of play normally i feel it was wasted time and that to progress i should stick to cow runs.....

You mention gauntlet is not on the radar and that is sad....its great place to have fun. What about buffing the rewards given, why not make legendary's you earn in gauntlet set items., so we don't gain XP but the rewards are there in terms of gear.
