So to get the highest, is the process like this?
combine 9 power greens each with power gems to make 1 power purple.
combine 9 att speed greens with att speed gems to make 1 att speed purple
combine 3 sets of 1 Crit chance, 2 Crit damage (or the other way? 2 crit chance 1 critdmg?, or 3 crit damage greens, using crit chance gems each time?) using crit chance gems to make 1 crit dmg/crit chance purple?
that would give 4 stats on 3 purples (total), so fusing them (with a power gem, attack speed gem, and crit chance gem respectively)?
240 appears to be the max power

crit rating if it has to be split like that, somewhere just above 200 (depending if you went 2 CD and 1 CC or 2 CC and 1 CD for the green combos)
