Audio Problem on 1.43.95 Enemy vocalizations don''t work.

Windows 10, 64 Bit on PC
All the enemy vocalizations have disappeared. The death-cries, the threats, the chanting, they're all gone. Even Magroth's death roar. All that's left is a Hoh Hoh Hoh sound when the enemies used to talk.
Other sound effects are working fine: footsteps, birdcalls, weapon sounds, portal whoosh, etc.
Applies to all story and trial levels, all the time. I'm playing a Warrior with mostly Fury gear plus Legacy boots, gloves and trinkets.
I restarted my computer, no improvement. I went into Windows settings and reset the game. It made no difference to this audio issue.
Uninstalled and re-installed Eternium. Still the same.
