It would be a nice quality of life enhancement if we were allowed to play story mode freely during ANB after we've burned out our event timers. It makes sense to allow this, considering that it won't have any impact on the Leaderboard, and maybe people will spend some extra gems on gem boosters and take advantage of the bonuses we get during the event.
