All I saw was a player on a thread like this one saying/speculating that an extension would be granted. I kind of took it as wishful thinking based on the extension in Silver.

I hoped for improvement even when the old timers told me it's hopeless here. One after another, bugged ANBs went by, you made things worse in a bad scenario and I still had hope. Worst part is, I kept giving hope to others. The ANB 3 Gold finally did the trick and I finally now see this "game" as a big black hole of hopelessness.
