Swipe Patterns

I'm having difficulties with my swipe patterns, mainly for my side characters.

For instance the 'Z' swipe pattern is to similar to 'S' so in the heat of battle I am constantly trying to open a town portal.

It would be cool if you could assign a custom pattern or make them suitably diverse that the game recognizes which ability you are trying to cast.

I agree we need different styles of patterns. My phone keep getting the v 's and circles mixed up. One wrong v or circle and I'm done for

For me, if there was an option to tap the abilities button/boxes it could be a nice addition to the game.

Maybe double finger strokes can be used for additional functionality.
