Auto-organize inventory mechanic?

Personally I feel like that an auto-organize mechanic within your inventory - or really any kind of space that you can put items in, like 'Your Stash', should have this mechanic implemented. It would make sorting out my hassle of an inventory with how meticulous I am a much better experience, with the addition of saving time.

Does anyone agree?

I haven't felt the need for this yet, I'm happy with the "double tap" function on the item to put it in the hero or stash(stash to inventory too), and if the game engine doesn't support this auto-organizing function it can be quite complex to do this system.
