heck, even make it only a small amount - say 5. but replace the 5k coins, or a few of the loot boxes. that won't jeopardize your income stream from selling glory to people who want it sooner, and it at least give tangible route to acquiring glory for people that can't spend. it will still accumulate slowly, but players won't feel like it's locked behind a paywall.
