What I mean is re-balance the essence that each stat is associated with. I seem to always have more earth essences than shadow. After looking a while ago, I noticed that Earth is associated with 5 stats, while Shadow is only associated with 3.
I decided to run a test. I zeroed out my lesser essences and for a month monitored the items I salvaged. I collected significantly more earth and water, as they both have 5 stats associated with them while Shadow and Air only have 3 (technically air is slightly more, but move speed only drops on boots/legs). The end result is the number of lesser essences below:
Shadow: 9.4k
Air: 9.9k
Fire: 11k
Water: 13.0k
Earth: 14.7k
I suggest that one stat get realigned from earth and water to shadow and air. What might make sense are Extra Gold -> Shadow and Dodge Rating -> Air.
