Changes If Equipped

It would be REALLY nice if when we received new equipment and clicked on it, if the "Changes When Equipped" stats show us what the changes would be without taking into account any socketed gems. You have to unsocket each time just to see the true stat changes when considering equipping a new item. I get tired of taking gems in and out just to see if my new item is better than my old item.

Good point. However, you are often comparing an equipped socketed item to an unequipped, unsocketed one. Ignoring gemsones in the comparison means that we are assuming you *will* spend gems to socket your new item.

The best compromise I can think of is having an "Ignore gemstones in item comparison" checkbox in Settings.
