Random Start

After playing a little bit, I have to say I hate the random start. It serves no purpose, doesn't add interest, is sometimes confusing and sometimes causes monsters to not appear. Why? Randomizing where monsters appear would be much better.

They do this in an attempt to prevent scripting. It's hard to write a routine that will work from any starting point.
(I'm not a fan of it either.)

Randomizing monster positioning would be a MUCH better way to do that.

I spent a lot of time building a guide on Gemstone farming for this game. I even made videos and a few posts.

You might have seen it. It's only a sticky.

And the devs decided to screw it up.

I just ran SM a few times.... More than 50% I'm dropped into the level without the boss. So no gem.

Actually, my guide concluded that SM was best for Gemstones.

TBD is best for combination of Gemstones and XP.

But even then, TBD will throw you from the starting point. TT as well.

So, all the work I did is moot.
