This is a really good idea. One of the best I've seen. I for one would like to see this implemented as a consumable or a booster type item.

Exactly what i was thinking....it's a way to keep the collecting going for just a small boost.
Include some various potions too...suddenly you have to stock up on all sorts of things for that LB push....Brings collecting back...

(sadly no gif for "bring the collection back, i dont know how to act..."

started a topic Trinkets and ioun stones

    Trinkets and ioun stones

I've seen several mentions of lighting and such recently.

Add a trinket spot. Include several different items that can be put in there with I would say ONE stat. Rare, legendary, etc only effects how high.

Include a version that is a lantern. Gives big increase to light radius.
    Go ahead and put:
A huge range on what the stat can roll up so grinding for a really good one becomes a thing. Maybe even make them appear only on elites who have them equipped (now dodging that elite pack might not be worth it cause that ioun stones you see floating is something you KNOW you get)

    Duriability.
To keep it fresh and swapping out. Make them break. Options include; all attacks, area attacks and, on death. They take damage.

I remember d&d online had one that had 1hp

    Xachosian elderweller.
During my time it doubled spell damage while active them made you diseased/exausted....

Having single use trinkets or ones that have a bonus for a time then HUGE penalties would be cool....have use them at right time.
Working...
