Is that 3 to 4 gems better per half hour? If so, this seems like a great idea for mobile, since he drops 3 gems without a booster.

I ran both for 3 minutes and compared gems. If you watch the video and pay attention to the time on my gem booster it's how I timed it.
Imo it's the best method for mobile.

My experience was that SoA was only about 3 to 4 gems better, so for me it's not worth the sanity loss from SoA. I did however watch a video of someone on pc doing SoA and they definitely had the 7 secs with no load times down so if you consider how much faster you can do it on pc, then yes SoA is still better \faster. For me being on Mobile and not having the best load times tho I still feel my method is better. But I give full credit to the SoA method, it is a very good way to farm gems.

So what is your conclusion?
