Many quests in each base npc

I started messing today with a character i made months ago in the event and I saw that even after taking it out of the event, the npcs at the base contained many quest markers in each one with yellow exclamations, they seem to be the sidequests that a new character in development receives.

Now with that it seems that in this character when I started using it months ago maybe he didn't receive sidequests but that detail I'm not sure if I remember correctly.

I'm afraid to complete these quests now as it could be considered some kind of exploit.

I still want to use this character to get red gems when replaying combat maps.

Not a bug, there was a code change, since removed that changed the timing of the side quests. Older toons get them all at once, just complete them.
