Season pass items sent to mailbox for how long?

I find myself pondering the idea of allowing my Season pass items to just flow into the mail but, I understand some things are kept indefinitely and others are not. With this in mind I have two pertinent questions. 1; which items can take up a permanent residence in the mail? 2; is it worth it?

I like opening Season pass items to help complete tasks given by the Season quests but, I'm not sure about letting them flow into the mailbox as I've never done that before. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

P.S. I'm mostly concerned about the final item, which is the reoccurring boxes that offer different gifts.

I don't think you can keep items in mail permanently now, when received they are date stamped and have an expiration. They will disappear if you neglect to claim them. Think they start with a 4 week timer. You don't have to collect all, Pick the ones you want at the moment.

Yes, I found out from the end of the last season that the rewards will only stay around for 4 weeks. However the Shrine offerings and the season bank earnings last indefinitely. So I'll adjust strategy accordingly. I can use the gems out of the final season box to build up my bank and hold the bank earnings in the mail until I get desperate for gems. Thanks for the response!
