Event Horizon, Singularity BoM

I’ve read elsewhere that the Singularity-boosting BoM doesn’t affect Event Horizon. I haven’t unlocked BoM recipes for my mages, so I can’t test this directly yet, and was wondering if anyone could verify that this is truly the case.

My confusion comes from the discrepancy between prior posts’ info vs the SCR set description (Event Horizon should do 200% Singularity’s damage). Therefore:

Singularity_damage + Singularity_BoM_boost = increased_Singularity_damage

increased_Singularity_damage * 200% = increased_Event_Horizon_damage


...right? Am I misinterpreting something somewhere on this?

Nope, not misinterpreting, but descriptions in eternium aren't as accurate
The singularity BoM is useless but SCR really wants an Arc Lightning BoM for the otherwise never ending boss fights.
Btw, all BoMs only boost the damage of what has the same name in the damage sheet. Also Rapid Fire using a primary attack will not get boosted by a BoM with that primary attack...

I was hoping that wasn’t the case, but at least now I know not to pursue the BoM recipe anytime soon, as my dropped AL bracer is fine.
