Absorbing bubble

This started appearing last evening. It seems like a healing or shielding bubble. Floating text sometimes says 'absorbing'. I'm still less than 2 weeks into the game, so go easy on me. What's making this? I have 2 healers on my team, but they've both been there for almost a week. I did add two new trinkets yesterday, Fire Lily and Brooch of Purifying Flames. I'd like to read about what it does exactly, but I don't know what to call it to search for it. What's it called, and what's creating it?

If I was to guess - it is the result of an Encrypted Shield which grants you a protective shield (May have got it as a result of a quest reward maybe?)

I bet you're right. I did find an epic 'Encrypted Shield' in a drop that was better than what I was using, probably yesterday. Errata:
