Osmosis or Slayer for Arcanist helm?

Which is better for an Arcanist build? If I understand correctly, from what I read, Osmosis is better for higher damage hits?

Osmosis is effective for longer battles, think the boss which can take minutes. Helm slayer helps with mobs until the boss spawns.

My biggest issue with Slayer-Helm (besides it being a Lesser Enchanment) is it only affects Elite enemies, albeit at +50% damage gain, nothing to sneeze at. And, just an FYI, the Boss (any Boss) is NOT considered an Elite player.

My experience is best with Osmosis (Greater Enchantment). I like 2 aspects: 1) You can gain stacking damage at +1%/30 times per minute (i.e. possibly +30% more damage), and it affects ALL enemies as well as the Boss.
