Apprentice Set with Everbound

Does anyone have good luck with the Apprentice set? I read in some other posts that it might be broken or maybe just not very good. I was never all that interested in it, then I thought I was being clever by making a set with the new Emblem of the Everbound, 5 Apprentice, 1 Elemental Lord and Grand Magister's Command. I figured there would then be free "rank 50" immolates with a 500% damage boost, freeing up a support spell spot for an extra frost spell, plus maybe igniter sash or illusionist. It's not even coming close to full arcanist or elemental Lord. I can think of quite a few interesting combos for bounty hunter and warrior with the new emblem, but the options for mage seem a bit lackluster in comparison...

The Apprentice Set is an introductory set, fairly easy to get for a reason -- it's really not bad for new players to get their feet wet in the game, to learn about the game mechanics, gear set attacking features, abilities, and passives. But it doesn't offer much in terms of power or abilities as a longer term investment (I don't have any gear for it in my inventory for it since there are more powerful sets).

That said, there is never harm in your experimenting (and your gained experience) with anything the game has to offer. Just don't spend too much time with it, since there are far better gear sets worth testing that will eventually meet your favorite status!

Apprentice Set bonuses tend to be outdated, so even with the free Rank 50 Immolates, the overall damage might not scale well into higher Trials. Have you tested how much of your total DPS is coming from Immolate versus other skills?

I get that the Apprentice set isn’t performing like Arcanist or Elemental Lord, but have we truly explored all the synergies? Maybe tweaking the support spells or focusing on a different damage rotation could yield better results. Sometimes, underused sets need the right combination to shine! That's Not My Neighbor

Zum Beispiel braucht man sich nicht um Kritwerte kümmern. Einen Schutzschild mit 50%iger Wahrscheinlichkeit. Den Rest muß ich mir bei Gelegenheit ins Deutsche übersetzen.
Außerdem sieht es dezent aus. Halt für Männer. Ist aber natürlich eine Geschmackfrage
