DOT Damage Over Time

Some good suggestions. The only one I did not try is the enchantment option (and the illusionist belt). I'll drag my mage out of the tavern and give it a whirl.

Zap mage with incinerate weapon enchant can benefit from this stone as well.

ELR is probably the only build the new spiritstones can be useful. Both belts for either DfA or Frost Beam builds benefit from this. For Arc, there's llusionist sash lol

Not sure about shatter. Thermal shock is like the Shockwave of mage, it's not DOT but it *feeds* on DOT.

Note: I don't play Mage much, so may have missed something... but since no one else has answered yet...

The only 2 I can find are Fireball attack and Immolate

Basic Training Grounds test:
- No weapon/tome, Fire Lily - eliminate damage & crits for fixed values.

Just wanted to give this a bump as I was wondering the same thing. I have tried a number of attacks and skills but it doesn't seem to have made much of a difference. There is no listing for DOT in the trial stats for my current ANB mage. I hear him yelling "freeze, burn" constantly but extra freezing and burning? Not so much.
