Companion skill level

Hello,
I have a question about my companion. I found the window to change the companion. You can also see his skills there. Unfortunately, all skills are "Level 1". But my companion's level is level 40. How can I increase the level of companion's skills? Own skill level is not a problem

Your companion levels increase (up to level 70 max) as you play them with your main hero. Just make sure your companion(s) is selected and appears in one of the companion slots so they are active with your main hero. If they are not selected (not slotted) they will not level up.
