CL targets are typically associated with the ANB, not TL. As you stated, there's no exact answer on this, instead it's often stated in ranges. With the time limits for each ANB, the upfront gameplay's primary focus is accumulating CL before final push. CL amplifies the hero's power levels, important in higher trials.
Anyway, for me, my CL targets are as follows:
Bronze ANB: 1900-2000+
Silver ANB: 1800+
Gold ANB : 1700+

Is not so much about Champion Levels (CLs) but rather gear and abilities. With the right gear along with the right abilities at the right minimum levels? Any class can clear Trial Level (TL) 100 with less than CL 300. Any class can farm TL 100 when properly configured with less than CL 600.
SO, rather than asking about CLs? More important to ask about builds.Comment
