Throw away some items.

Maybe I'll look like a beginner, but in all the years that I've been playing Eternium, I haven't found a real solution yet.
Some items won in the game or purchased can't be abandoned, sold or dissociated.
For example, some small bonuses that may not be interesting enough or weapons no more usefull like the storm blade.
The only solution I found is to create a new hero, transfer the items that clutter the inventory to him, and then delete this hero.
But it's annoying because deleting a hero costs 50 gems. A bit ridiculous.
Isn't there another way to clean up ?
And as a suggestion, why not add a "recycling center" to the village in which we could abandon any item (and I mean any item without exception) without any compensation ?
