Using Celestial Transform & Star forge Hammer

Celestial items have stats in the near-max range - so it doesn't matter if you apply the CT or Hammer first, just restart the game afterwards for the stats to be updated.

Add the socket(s) first, the cost is based on level and quality - so the lower the level, the lower the Gems cost.

If you're planning to level up your item, don't use Celestial Orb until it's at max level. The stats range is re-rolled, as far as I am aware, so any boost from the Orb is lost when you increase the level.

I remember seeing somewhere a recommendation on how to use these items but can't find it again for the life of me.

So, is it advisable to do a transform and then raise an items level or raise the items levels 1st or does it make no difference?

Also, if the item has no socket, should one be added before or after getting to lvl 80? Or does it matter?
