How do you increase DPS on Deadly Throw stats?

I am CL 2266 will full Defender gear and so far am only able to generate 267.09B DPS for Deadly Throw during TL 170. Wondering what the key levers are for boosting DPS for the Deadly Throw? Thanks.

BUT, with DT using 100% of shield's armour as damage then it stands to reason that you'll get the most damage from a shield with the highest armour rating. I'm unsure if the armour enchantment or diamond socket adds to the damage calculation but the highest armour stat rating you can get is 2208 for a level 80 shield

I'm not the best but doing pretty well. With shield block, only use it once you have a group, try to group with at least one set of elites and move on. If elites are tough, move into a random group and let the extra shield bounces take care of the tough elites, and move on instead of taking forever to kill elites on their own. Once at the boss, only use shield block on daggers and watch the shields do their work. If stillgakig a while, move into a random group and let extra shield bounces take more damage on the boss. Otherwise , watch timers and hit shield bounces when critical damage trinket it up, etc
