Shockwave and deadly throw still apply for maximum damage.
I've seen increased results in arena with deflect and increased armor on jewelry with reactive enchant for +1 damage against mages with that mirror thing to survive and close in for a kill. Also applies for surviving traps and reflecting/reacting to kill bounty hunter while still in a trap.
In trials, the 15/20% to deflect stat and putting armor on jewelry with reactive gets rid of adds quicker to get to boss.
The gloves bonus to physical/armor is wicked.

To note: I was also using deflect (20% with stones, 15 w/out still effective) combined with armor on jewelry. I got lucky with 900 armor on a ring in STL. Deflect has 25% bonus with shield which led me to include deflect with armor as +1 damage with reactive on chest armor for damage as well as survivability.
The deflect shield did not out weigh bonus with new legacy shield for deadly throws. I found armor as a stat on shield didn't add as much as I wanted (armor stone still applies for bonus) compared to haste or crit damage as a stat.
I don have that many celestials, which led me to experiment with deflect and armor for damage/survivability for higher trials. I've made it to 175 thus far, excited to see where this leads with more 77's.

Loving the new gloves
Another physical bonus is awesome. I was just experimenting with armor as +1 damage to jewelry and such with reactive, the armor boost is a unexpected bonus!
It makes a difference and with the new trinkets in play the combinations for weapons/gear are pretty amazing. I hope others are enjoying the same?Tags: None
