    Release Notes - Eternium 1.35: Gone Rogue Fixes

    This update will be available on all platforms today.
    • Addressed a tallying issue with Marks of the Oracle and Marks of the Titan for Bounties.
    • Resolved various game crashes and freezes.
    • Implemented improvements to prevent loss of progress.
    • Fixed an issue with Gone Rogue mail messages (including rewards) not being sent back to main heroes.
    • Fixed an issue where shrines would spawn in inaccessible areas.
    • Fixed a problem with heroes gender changing during hero creation.
    • Corrected an issue where only one reward chest would spawn.
    • Addressed typos in ability descriptions.

    Played about the 4th or 5th room in GR and clicked on the portal. It showed me the selection screen, but the game was frozen (or at least ignoring my screen touches). Killed the game and relaunched. It took me to the selection screen and when I chose my next room and checked my inventory everything was there. So nothing lost in the crash. That character has since died because apparently that's what rogue games are about. Android tablet and version 1.35.4.

      This is (part of) what we're after. We're still working to reduce freezes and crashes. In the meantime, we've added some functionality to mitigate losses.

    I know you're working hard to get GR working properly. Just passing along experiences so you know what needs work.

    Speaking of that, yesterday I was playing GR in a trial with the cave theme. When the chests appeared one was on top of the outside surrounding wall of the level, but I couldn't approach it close enough to trigger it to open. Oh well, one chest instead of two for that level.

      I had exactly the same problem with the caves or canyon theme. One chest was where it was supposed to be, the oracle loot was positioned where I could reach it but since you can't jump, the second chest remained unclaimed.

    I tried hard around such a place and could manage to make it open, maybe I was lucky.

    One more thing, the passive abilities do not show up on the left hand side during combat though they are activated in abilities window, and occasionally they show up at the top during combat, just to let you know.

      Passives don't normally show with the abilities on the main screen - the bottom 3 in the normal game are Companions' abilities, not Passives

    Ooops, yes, you're right, I missed that. If no companions, then nothing to display and hence empty squares that caught my attention.

        I don't think I've seen a building in a trial. Very nice.

        I especially like the fence to keep the monsters out! ;-)

        Geoff13 I used to see them occasionally years ago. I've forgotten which version of the game. I used to think there was something special about them until I realized you couldn't go in the structure
