If you apply a CT to the L77 legendary ephemeral item from StL, does it become permanent and transfer to your account when the event ends?

The Level 77 Ephemeral Item Box was only for Survive the Land event heroes. If you did not have an event hero, you were not able to claim the reward. The Survive the Land event has ended, but we run events and send out email rewards on a regular basis, so keep an eye out for the next email!

Clicking the link on the website generates an email containing a reward link. Click the link in the email to receive the reward via in-game message. Be sure to check your spam folder for the email with the reward link and you have to have an event hero to receive the message.

I keep clicking the "Claim It" link, and no email is ever sent. I don't log into the game with any account, I just run the Windows app... What is the idea of this message?

Is this talking about an "in-game" mail message or an actual "email" message that is supposed to be sent? Because I see neither show up when clicking "Claim It"... and yes I can see email to the same email address I did use to login to the game.
