What is the source of BH's purple lightening?

I am running a Stalker BH with VoWS, ToS, Molten Belt, BoM with Snipe bonus, Osomsis enchant on helmet, and Slayer enchant on one weapon. During trials I occasionally notice a curious flash of purple lightening between my BH and an enemy (sort of looks like a Mage's arc lightening effect only weaker). I can't be sure which direction it is coming from, but I never noticed it before the most recent version upgrade. For some reason, I cannot replicate the effect in Training Grounds. Has anyone else seen this effect and know what it is?

Could be damage reflection - either from your BH or from Elite mob with reflection aura...

Figured it was "corner of my eye" thing and dismissed it haha

It happens a few times during trials, but it is so fast that I can't even tell which direction it is moving. Is it coming at me or going away from me?

Isn’t the charged Lightning ammo reddish purple for the BH?

Could be, but this BH isn't using Charged Ammo.

Nhat That's what I am seeing; the jagged purple lightening between the hero and enemy in lower left corner. I was thinking about trying to get a video, but this captures what I have been seeing. It happens very fast, and I assume it doesn't have much impact on trial performance. More of a "What the hell was that" kind of thing. Thanks for looking into this!
