Audio Problem on 1.43.95 Hero and Enemy vocalizations don''t work.

    Version 1.43.95
Windows 10, 64 Bit on PC

All the Hero and Enemy vocalizations have disappeared. Even at 100% verbosity, my Hero says nothing. No more 'kill the summoner', 'For gold and glory!' Nothing. Same with the enemies: The death-cries, the threats, the chanting, they're all gone. Even Magroth's death roar. All that's left is a Hoh Hoh Hoh sound when the enemies used to talk.

With the Hero's verbosity set to 0%, the hoh hoh sounds continue to occur in every battle.
Other sound effects are working fine: footsteps, birdcalls, weapon sounds, portal whoosh, etc.

Applies to all story and trial levels, all the time. I'm playing a Warrior with mostly Fury gear plus Legacy boots, gloves and trinkets.

I restarted my computer, no improvement. I went into Windows settings and reset the game. It made no difference to this audio issue.
Uninstalled and re-installed Eternium. Still the same.

I agree with MightyPen . ALL champion and monster vocalizations have disappeared. All I hear are the background sounds (birds chirping, background music, etc.). I've all tried a complete SETTINGS RESET, to no avail.

Furthermore, manually activating an Ability doesn't work.

C'mon, Eternium ... this updade is a disaster for Windows players.

Playing on STEAM for the time being for now, which has none of the issues above.

I have the same verbosity issue with the Microsoft store version too. I switched to the Steam version as suggested above, and the verbosity issue vanished. Not to mention the Steam version is optimized for PC playing with newer UI and slightly different settings.
