If they put it there they're in competition with the bigger studios. Eternium is pretty unique on Android/iOS and they have a special deal with Microsoft.
They already use the Google play games achievements and your friends can see those and you get points in Google play games.

I agree with you multiplayer should be added but when if it got on steam i think it would create more players further pushing multiplayer

Just because a game is or isnt on steam doesnt mean it will grow. Fortnite, the biggest game ever, is not on steam for example.

It's just a run of the mill contract. They gave us some incentive to offer the game in the M$ Store back in the day.
